The wait for the appearance of the restyled Lada Vesta FL has already been pretty long. If last year there was information that a new version of the popular car would debut on the market in 2021, then later the release dates for the car were adjusted. It turned out that the production model will go on sale no earlier than 2022.

At the moment, a test production of cars is organized on the AvtoVAZ conveyor. It is designed to polish all production processes and prepare a high-quality, more modern model for the debut. All cars that are now being produced on the conveyor are redirected to the STC "AvtoVAZ" by auto transporters (photo: Avtograd news).
On the eve, after the arrival of the next test batch of Vesta FL on the territory of the STC, very curious details emerged. According to insiders who were able to familiarize themselves with the received cars, there were fewer changes in their exterior than previously thought. In particular, the cars did not receive the tapered headlights with LEDs, as originally predicted. However, it is not yet completely clear whether it is a question that the car will be equipped with standard optics, or the headlights themselves will be new, but they will not receive LED matrices.
Thus, all those who expected a significant correction of the appearance of the Russian car may face serious disappointment. As for the changes that will occur in the interior of the Russian model, so far they remain the same as expected. In particular, Lada Vesta FL will be equipped with a digital instrument panel and new multimedia with a vertical touchscreen. How much the cost of the car will change after the update has not yet been reported.
