For a long time, compact urban SUVs have come into fashion, therefore, it should not be surprising that a real fierce struggle for each potential buyer unfolded in this class. This segment of the market is saturated with numerous options, and yet, one of them stands out more. We are talking about Hawal H2 2022, which can now be found on sale in the secondary market in Russia or in China. The model is a direct competitor to Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taos and Mazda CX-30. On sale you can find cars in several basic configurations with a price tag of 848,000 - 1,224,000 rubles for the generation of Elite and Lux, respectively, translated into domestic currency.

At the same time, a similar combination of circumstances could be observed from the very beginning, as soon as the first production samples were in dealerships. The price tag for the model ranges from 848,000 to 1,224,000 rubles. Moving between versions, the equipment of the car does not change so noticeably, therefore, attention should be paid to the "base", as well as to the maximum configuration.

Although in the case of Haval H2 2022 we are talking about another "state employee", in terms of safety, the car surpasses many "classmates". The model took part in C-NCAP crash tests and was able to score good results. The overall assessment of the SUV corresponds to the "Five Stars" rating. When tested, the cross scored 55, 7 points. It is worth recalling that this crash test provides an assessment of several main areas. We are talking about a frontal impact with 100% overlap - the result is 87%. Handling and off-road performance

This "Chinese" is not an SUV, but is an ordinary compact SUV. The main reference point of the model to the city. Here, the crossover shows its best side and demonstrates excellent handling. The "Chinese" can easily compete in this respect, both with the "Koreans" and with the "Japanese", and in some moments will certainly come out the winner. As for the off-road, you can get here only on all-wheel drive generations, and even then, not counting on a confident ride through serious obstacles in its path. The possibilities of the cross are more consistent with dirt roads, as well as rough terrain. Here, the SUV will not allow the driver to worry and face problems when crossing even the largest pit. The advantage of the SUV is, without a doubt, a short wheelbase, which does not interfere with confidently overcome various pits and bumps.

Advantages and disadvantages

This is not to say that the Haval H2 2022 SUV is good in everything or, on the contrary, has a fair amount of flaws. Rather, things are different and the model, by the standard, has its advantages and disadvantages. The main advantage is the price. For that kind of money, it is quite difficult to find a “classmate” that matches the characteristics.

At the same time, the service of the "Chinese" cannot be called affordable. In this regard, there are models that are cheaper to maintain. For example, almost all "classmates" have alternative attitudes, which makes it easier for buyers to make a choice. The obvious disadvantages include a small trunk. Despite this, the SUV received a fairly spacious five-seater interior.

Design

Traditionally, this Chinese car has a bright and memorable design. The technical side of the crossover is not as memorable as the exterior and interior decoration. In this regard, the cross has definitely surpassed a number of "classmates". The abundance of chrome on the front part indicates the serious status of the SUV, and does not correspond to the budget price in any way. At the front, there are massive headlights, emphasizing the brutality of a small car.

Salon "Chinese" is made with an idea for the future. It is already dominated by high-tech elements and a non-standard approach to the layout. Bright decorative inserts complement the style, although some motorists may find them out of place.

Sales start

In the current version, the Haval H2 was presented to the public back in 2013, and almost immediately the free sales of the SUV started. The crossover reached the Russian market at the end of 2015 and was sold for five years. During this time, many motorists were able to appreciate the model.
