At this price, you can buy a car if there is an appropriate subsidy. The usual retail price of a car is 181,000 rubles higher. It is worth noting that in the all-wheel drive version, the electric car is available only in the top-end configuration.
Luxury
The most affordable version of a Chinese electric car costing 2,576,000 rubles with a subsidy or 2,757,000 rubles at the retail price. This car is equipped with options such as:

In China, for 2,868,000 rubles with a subsidy and 3,050,000 rubles without subsidies, you can buy a BYD Han EV 2022 electric car in a premium configuration with the same 163 kW engine and front-wheel drive. The equipment of this electric car includes a monitoring system for "blind" zones, electric front seats with memory function, electric outside rear-view mirrors, electric heating and the option of automatic folding when the vehicle is armed.
Flagship

Despite the fact that Chinese manufacturers strive to make their cars as affordable as possible for potential buyers, special attention is paid to such an indicator as safety when preparing a vehicle for mass production. Especially, this affects electric cars, whose production is actively established in the territory of the Middle Kingdom. BYD Han EV 2022 is no exception. It is an extremely reliable and well thought-out model with numerous systems and electronic assistants. The set of the car includes 8 - 10 airbags, three-point belts, as well as fastenings for ISOFIX child seats. It is worth noting that there is no data on the crash tests of these cars on the network, however, the manufacturer claims that this vehicle fully meets all the requirements.
Handling and off-road performance
According to the same manufacturer, this is a luxury electric car with excellent handling. Regardless of the speed, the sedan has excellent road holding and excellent maneuverability. In turn, such a car should be considered only when the motorist is only interested in the urban model.
For rough terrain, and especially off-road, the electric car is poorly adapted and can experience serious difficulties, even when it collides with a small obstacle. The reason for this is the small ground clearance of 130 mm, which is clearly sometimes not enough for the average motorist who chooses a vehicle for himself for all possible occasions.
Advantages and disadvantages
In order to understand whether a car deserves attention or not, it is imperative to highlight the main advantages of the model, which today can be noted a lot:
- acceptable price for an electric car;
- equipment comparable to "classmates";
- spectacular appearance and rich interior arrangement;
- insignificant costs associated with car maintenance;
- excellent dynamics and an impressive power reserve for an electric car;
- a variety of configurations and power units.
In a separate order, you need to talk about the obvious shortcomings of the car, which are not so many, and you can only highlight that a small clearance, as well as expensive repairs that can be encountered if the electric car is damaged.
Design
What the Chinese electric car is really one of the best representatives of its class and price segment is in terms of appearance. The Chinese manufacturer managed to make a car that looks significantly more attractive than the main rival Tesla Model S. In general, the body can be distinguished by prestige and luxury in every element. Of course, most of all, I would like to highlight the appearance of the front and aft parts. Here, the electric car clearly looks like a car from the future.
The interior of the electric car looks to match the exterior - spectacular, aggressive and stylish. Here the manufacturer has implemented all the advanced design developments and newfangled solutions. The interior has a two-tone design with a bunch of high-tech elements, which no doubt immediately catches the eye and makes you dream of such a car.
Sales start
BYD has been thinking about creating a luxury electric car for a long time, however, the company managed to realize its developments only last year. The official premiere and subsequent start of sales took place in 2020. Now the electric car can be found only in China, and at the moment there is no official data on where else in the future this vehicle will be sold in addition to the home market.
