The Chinese crossover Haval H6 was popular in the second generation, both in the home and in the Russian markets. This is not surprising, since the model received excellent performance. In the current update, the main parameters, as well as the appearance of the car, have undergone changes and the output has turned out to be an even more interesting SUV Hawal N6 2022 in the third generation, which is now sold in China, and will soon have to debut in Russia. Now this model is available in several trim levels at a price of 1,121,000 - 1,756,000 rubles for the Standard and GT versions, respectively. The "Chinese" can be called a direct rival for Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Geely Atlas, Mazda CX-5 and Toyota RAV4.

Specifications

In the new body, the Chinese SUV has undergone major changes. This affected not only the appearance, which can be estimated from the photo in the article, but also prices, configurations, as well as the main technical characteristics. In fact, Hawal N6 2022 is a model improved in all aspects, which fully meets modern realities and the needs of potential buyers.

In the updated version, the car is equipped with two power units to choose from. We are talking about turbocharged gasoline internal combustion engines with a volume of 1, 5 and 2.0 liters. The units generate 169 and 224 hp, as well as 285 and 385 N * m of torque, respectively. All generations use an uncontested transmission - a robotic 7-speed gearbox. The SUV in the third generation received a completely new platform, but the previous power units, because of which, you can count on similar indicators in terms of consumption and dynamics. The crossover will spend about 7, 5 - 9, 0 liters of fuel per 100 km. As before, the SUV can be refueled with AI-92 gasoline. The SUV complies with the Euro-6 environmental standard in terms of the level of harmful emissions into the atmosphere.

As before, the "Chinese" is sold with front or plug-in all-wheel drive in more expensive versions. The model received standard dimensions for its class. The five-seater SUV reaches 4,600 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width and 1,720 mm in height. The wheelbase of the SUV is 2 680 mm. The curb weight depends on the selected engine and is 1 661 - 1 720 kg. The trunk of the crossover holds more than 800 liters of cargo.

Options and prices

In total, there are six different versions of the Hawal N6 2022 SUV in the new generation on the Chinese automotive market. There is a possibility that for Russia the variations will be changed and the key characteristics will change somewhat. At the moment, this SUV costs 1,121,000 - 1,756,000 rubles in terms of Russian currency in accordance with the current exchange rate. It is noteworthy that it is possible to claim the lowest cost for a SUV in the "base" only if there is an appropriate subsidy. For Russia, prices will differ.

Standard

In the "base", the Chinese SUV can be purchased only with a 1.5-liter turbocharger of a gasoline type for 169 forces and in front-wheel drive versions. The standard price of the model is 1,234,000 rubles. You can get a discount on the purchase of this car. The equipment of the crossover already in the "base" includes such options as:

Consider the car Haval H6 2022, focused on the Chinese market, should be in the "base" and in the maximum configuration, since there is not such a big difference in price between them, but at the same time, the equipment is significantly different. Such a crossover with all the equipment costs 1,756,000 rubles and is sold with a 2.0-liter installation, as well as with a 4WD system. The equipment of the car looks more interesting, since there are already such options as: 360-degree view cameras, multimedia with a 12, 3-inch screen, electric heated front and rear seats, self-dimming salon mirror, electric and heated side mirrors, 19- inch rims and many other useful features.

Safety

The new crossover in the third generation, like its predecessor, has passed the C-NCAP safety test. This Asian crash test is designed to identify vehicle weaknesses in several ways. In this version, the cross scored a score of 57.9 points, which corresponds to the "Five Stars" rating. Recall that, first of all, the model is evaluated in a head-on collision with one hundred percent and forty percent overlap. The novelty in this test was able to score 95%, which is better than its predecessor. The consequences of a side impact are assessed in terms of safety at 100%. As for the impact to the stern, here the indicator is slightly worse, namely 91%. Since Haval plans to sell the H6 car in Russia, preliminary tests for certification will be carried out here, which will give a final understanding of how safe a Chinese person looks.

Handling and off-road performance

The update has not so noticeably affected the driving performance of the Chinese crossover. Although it has a completely new platform, it is still more of an urban model that does not feel as confident off-road, even in four-wheel drive versions. Of course, driving such a car will not cause problems when driving on dirt roads and over rough terrain, however, when driving off-road, the situation will worsen.

On paved roads, the "Chinese" feels confident, holds the road well, and reacts fairly quickly to the steering, despite even its impressive mass.

Advantages and disadvantages

Traditionally, car enthusiasts, stopping their eyes on a particular model, pay attention to the strengths and weaknesses of the car, and only after that make a purchase decision. That is why, here it is worth considering which ones, there are pros and cons of the "Chinese". Haval H6 2022 got a huge trunk. In comparison with many "classmates", this is a really spacious car inside, which will not only accommodate the driver and passengers with comfort, they will also be able to take the maximum amount of hand luggage with them on a trip. Also pay attention to the interior and exterior of the car. Now the car actually looks like the car of the future with a high-tech and stylish design.

Not without its drawbacks. You need to highlight the manual transmission. With such a "box" on the off-road and even on rough terrain, you will have to suffer, as it is designed for dynamic driving in the city and when driving on the highway.

Design

Separately, it is worth talking about the appearance of the updated "Chinese". In comparison with its predecessor, we are talking entirely about a fresh car built on a new platform. As a result, the outlines of the novelty and the car in the second generation are completely different. With the update, the SUV ceased to be brutal and acquired more style. The manufacturer abandoned the abundance of chrome, but at the same time took advantage of innovative design solutions, complementing the H6 with the classic style of its modern lineup.

At the same time, this can be seen both inside the car and outside. In the salon, the "Chinese" is still executed quite simply, but tastefully. The practical layout as well as the high technology impresses.

Sales start

At the moment, this crossover is not sold in the Russian automotive market. The debut of the novelty should take place towards the end of 2021. Now this model can be found in dealerships in China. The official premiere of the car took place in the summer of 2020, after which, almost immediately, free sales of the SUV started on the home market.
