A few days ago, Dongfeng published the debut sketches of its new Fengxing minivan. Now the manufacturer has posted official pictures of the car on the Web. In these photos, the body of the model is covered with camouflage camouflage. However, they already give some idea of the future market debut. It is known that the new Dongfeng Fengxing is positioned by the developer as a 7-seater minivan that can compete with the Kia Carnival. The model is based on the Super Cube EMA architecture. The launch of the car on sale is scheduled for 2022.
New Dongfeng Fengxing minivan
The new car is built around the Front Dynamics design concept, created in collaboration with the Chinese and Western teams. However, the emphasis in this case was on integrating traditional Asian aesthetics into the exterior of the future model. Judging by the photos published by the manufacturer, the new minivan will receive a straight radiator grill, made in the form of a waterfall. The head optics of the model will be LED. Most of the headlights are hidden under camouflage film, but previously published sketches hint that the headlights will get a sharp enough design.
The side section of the Chinese model attracts attention with the double waist line. Moreover, the upper one extends from the front optics to the taillights and is flush with the glazing. This design solution gives the car a swiftness. Unfortunately, it is impossible to see more details in this part due to protective camouflage. Even the wheel rims are covered with a film. At the stern of the new minivan, there will be a compact spoiler and a through design of lights. A shark fin antenna is installed on the roof.
The interior of the car in these photos is not declassified. However, it must be technologically advanced enough. This is indirectly indicated by the architecture on which the minivan is built. Let us remind you that the Chinese model is based on the Super Cube EMA trolley. This platform allows you to create comfortable cars equipped with the most modern intelligent options and powerful engines.
