Indian automaker Force Motors has revealed the pricing it will receive for its new second-gen Gurkha SUV. The main distinguishing feature of this model is the visual similarity with the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
The new SUV was first shown in early September. The car retained the classic frame structure, received an all-wheel drive system with a rigidly connected front axle, as well as a blocking of cross-axle differentials. As a result of the change of generations, engineers were able to increase the area of the car's glazing, as well as its doorways. In addition, the manufacturer managed to significantly increase the rigidity of the SUV's body, which led to a decrease in noise and vibration in the cabin.
Also, thanks to the update, the car has increased in dimensions, which now reach 4116x1812x2075 mm. Regardless of the version, Force Gurkha is offered exclusively in a three-door body style. If we compare the updated SUV with the previous generation, then the manufacturer offered more modern functionality for the new product. We are talking about installing a multimedia system with a 7-inch display, a different steering column that can be adjusted in various variations. The basic version of the SUV is equipped with two airbags, and the trunk, thanks to the presence of a swing door, can hold about 500 liters of cargo.
The power capabilities of the second generation Force Gurkha are determined by the 2, 6-liter engine from Mercedes, the return of which is 91 horsepower. The price of a new SUV is 1.34 million rubles in equivalent.
