The fact is that Chery recently introduced the Kaiyi Xuanjie Pro EV electric crossover, which has entered the home market today. Prices for this model start at 131.9 thousand yuan (about 1.49 million rubles). For the top version of the electric crossover, they ask for at least 151.9 thousand yuan (1.71 million rubles).
Kaiyi Xuanjie Pro EV is compact in size. At the same time, due to the design features, the car offers one of the most spacious cabins in the class. Despite the announced price, the Kaiyi Xuanjie Pro EV stands out from potential competitors with its premium performance. So, the seats of the novelty are trimmed with artificial leather with contrasting inserts, which give the interior a more youthful look.
Together with the Chinese crossover, a touchscreen monitor, a virtual instrument panel, climate control with physical control keys and even a gearshift lever, uncharacteristic for electric cars, are offered. Optionally, with the Kaiyi Xuanjie Pro EV, you can purchase an engine start button, a keyless entry system, 360-degree cameras, an automatic valet parking, a lane departure warning assistant and other equipment.
The Chinese novelty is driven by one electric motor located in front. The maximum output of this unit is 163 HP, the torque is 280 N * m. The motor is combined with a battery with a capacity of 53.6 kWh. It provides a power reserve of 401 kilometers.
