About a month ago Hyundai unveiled a new compact crossover Casper, which became the cheapest SUV of the Korean brand. Initially, it was assumed that this model will cost about 700 thousand rubles, recalculated at the current exchange rate. However, now the manufacturer has launched "live" sales (accepting applications started earlier) of the new Casper, which was estimated at 850 thousand rubles. The car is still available in the South Korean market.
Casper is Hyundai's smallest crossover. There are only 4 seats in its cabin. At the same time, Casper offers a good level of equipment for its class. The Korean model comes complete with an information display located on the dashboard, a touch screen, an air conditioner, a multifunctional steering wheel and other equipment. There are also standard 2 airbags and several driver assistants.
Under the hood of the novelty, a liter naturally aspirated engine is installed by default, the maximum power of which reaches 76 hp. Such a motor is combined with a four-speed automatic transmission. In more expensive modifications, this unit is complemented by a turbine, thanks to which the maximum power is increased to 100 hp.
Along with the Korean novelty, there are many options for personalizing it. In particular, buyers can choose from several shades of body color and individual exterior details. Casper is currently sold online only. It is known that later the Korean novelty will enter the Indian market. At the same time, Hyundai does not plan to export the car to other countries yet.
