The 2022 Porsche Cayenne is a sporty crossover that is popular in Russia and has long gained cult status. Among the competitors of the model are other Germans and the Italian exotic Maserati Levante. In terms of looks, the automaker remains true to itself. The front end is still firm. It will always be recognizable as a Porsche. From generation to generation, the car undergoes minor changes in appearance. The last time they touched the taillights, which received a jumper. In the minimum configuration Tiptronic for 6,280,000 rubles under the hood of the cross there is already a powerful 340-horsepower engine, which allows it to accelerate from zero to one hundred in 6, 2 seconds. At the top is the Tiptronic Turbo S E-Hybrid at a price of 14,040,000 rubles. The SUV in this design is equipped with a 550 horsepower engine. In this case, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is achieved in 3.8 seconds. These are the indicators of a sports car.

Specifications

Porsche Cayenne 2022 of the third generation did not receive a new body, which can be seen in the photo. But the model has a wide range of configurations. All of them differ in price and technical characteristics.

The car received a whole range of motors. The most affordable is a 340-horsepower three-liter six-cylinder turbo engine. Its torque is 450 N * m. Acceleration from zero to one hundred is 6.2 seconds at a top speed of 245 km / h. There is also a hybrid version. There, the maximum speed is 253 km / h, and the acceleration time to 100 km / h is reduced to exactly 5 seconds. One step higher is a biturbo unit with a capacity of 440 horsepower and a volume of 2.9 liters. Its maximum torque is 550 N * m. The acceleration time from 0-100 km / h is 5.2 seconds, and the top speed is increased to 265 km / h.

Next comes the even more powerful 460 horsepower 4-liter twin-turbo engine with a maximum torque of 620 Nm. Together with it, the acceleration time from 0-100 km / h is 4.5 seconds, and the top speed is 270 km / h. It is also the first engine in the eight-cylinder range. At the top is another 4-liter biturbo engine. It develops 550 horsepower at 770 N * m of torque. The maximum speed is 286 km / h. The first "hundred" is reached in 4.1 seconds. A hybrid version is also available. It is even more dynamic. In this case, the maximum speed increases to 295 km / h, and the acceleration time to 100 km / h is already 3.8 seconds. All engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The dimensions of the body are as follows: 4926 x 1983 x 1673 mm. The wheelbase is 2895 mm. The salon can accommodate 5 people. The volume of the trunk is 645 liters, and with the rear seats folded out, it increases to 1605 liters.

Options and prices

The car received 6 trim levels, two of them include a hybrid system. Moreover, these configurations differ from the classic versions in equipment, insignificantly, but noticeably. Interestingly, many seemingly basic features are offered as options. Also note that more expensive configurations may not include by default what is in the initial ones.

Tiptronic

Basic equipment, which includes a 340-horsepower engine. The cost of the SUV starts at 6 280 00 rubles. This variation includes:

The Porsche Cayenne 2022 is a safe car, as confirmed by Euro NCAP crash tests. The models were awarded five stars. The taillights now form a single unit thanks to the light strip connecting them. At the front - all the same headlights, which are recognizable to all previous generations and almost any other Porsche. Below are the radiator blinds, which are active here.

The salon is quite luxurious, and it, of course, depends on the equipment. For example, it can be included in Alcantara and wood trims. On the front console, the enlarged display of the infotainment system is striking. In general, this part is similar in design to the Porsche Panamera. A lot of buttons can scare someone off, although everything is clearly done with taste.
