For the first time, the Jiaji minivan produced by the Chinese auto brand Geely hit the market in 2019. This model was created on the basis of the Swedish Volvo XC40, but has a number of its own technical nuances. Given the fact how popular crossovers are in the global market, the minivan has not received serious demand even in China. However, the manufacturer himself decided not to abandon its plans to sell and update the car. More recently, Geely introduced a new Jiaji modification. Now it is on sale.

In general, experts consider the update to be quite modest. Although the developer himself indicates that he made 37 changes to the car, most of them are simply not visible. If we talk about the visual update of the exterior, then it comes down to the appearance of a redesigned radiator grille and aluminum wheel rims of a different design.

The van's interior also received a number of changes. First of all, the developer has improved the quality of interior finishing materials. Paying tribute to modern trends that boil down to protecting the health of passengers, the developers from Geely have finished those elements of the cabin that passengers come into contact with most often with antibacterial fabric. In addition, the interior now has a burgundy brown design, rather than the classic black. The car also received an improved air purification system and a 12, 3-inch display, with which the built-in capabilities are controlled. The salon of the new version of the minivan is available in six or seven-seater versions.

The power parameters of the van are determined exclusively by the 1.8-liter turbo engine with a return of 183 horsepower. It will later be complemented by a hybrid system, which is currently undergoing an update. The starting price of the new model in China starts at 1.35 million rubles.
