The middle of summer was not rich in new items. During this period, the long-awaited Lexus NX and Toyota Land Cruiser 300 of the new generation debuted. Also, several models were presented that went through restyling. But the world market is still calm: few new cars will go on sale abroad during July. Russia stands out in this vein. A whole "assault" of new products will land on the domestic market during July. Moreover, Audi will play a major role in this.

Audi

As follows from the announced plans, during July on the Russian market Audi will bring the updated RS4 Avant, RS5 Coupe and Sportback, RS Q3 and Sportback, SQ5 Sportback. With the exception of the penultimate model, all German cars underwent a planned restyling, within which the exterior and interior were redesigned, and the set of on-board equipment was improved.

The RS Q3 has gone through generations, bringing with it an updated 2.5-liter turbocharged engine producing up to 400 hp. power and 480 N * m of torque. By default, the German model is equipped with a proprietary all-wheel drive with a multi-plate clutch. This transmission can now redistribute torque not only between the axles, but also between the rear wheels.

Lexus ls

The flagship of the Japanese brand Lexus LS has already entered the Russian market at a price of 9.6 million rubles. The sedan underwent a planned restyling that brought with it redesigned adaptive dampers and improved cabin noise insulation. Overall, during the upgrade, Lexus engineers worked to improve the comfort level inside the LS. Under the hood of the sedan, the default is a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a maximum output of 315 hp. For a surcharge, the Lexus LS turns into a four-wheel drive car with a 3.4-liter biturbo engine developing up to 421 hp.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The new generation of the popular German sedan is also already available on the Russian market at a price of 3.66 million rubles. After changing generations, the C-Class received head optics, consisting of 1.3 million reflective elements and holographic lenses. A separate digital instrument panel (diagonal - 10, 25 or 12, 3 inches) and a touchscreen monitor (9, 5 or 11, 9 inches) appeared in the saloon. Built-in multimedia supports voice commands and guesses the driver's mood. The new C-Class is now equipped exclusively with mild-hybrid units based on 1, 5 and 2-liter turbo engines. The first unit produces a total of 170 hp. power, the second - 204 hp. There is also a 2-liter turbodiesel with a starter-generator that develops up to 200 or 265 hp. In addition, the new product is available in four-wheel drive design.

Mercedes-Benz CLS

This coupe can also be bought on the Russian market at a price of 6, 69 million rubles. CLS equipment level is comparable to the top versions of the C-Class. But this coupe is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that now reaches 265 hp. with a thrust of 550 N * m. The new CLS has full drive by default. There are also diesel modifications with 2- and 2.9-liter engines, developing at 194 and 330 hp, respectively.

Volkswagen Caddy California

After the start of sales of the PanAmericana all-terrain modification, a new VW Caddy in the California version is to arrive in Russia, which turns the minivan into a compact mobile home. This version is interesting in that it has a tent on its roof, and the rear seats fold so that they form a flat surface on which a double mattress is placed. This modification also provides a field kitchen and a number of other outdoor recreation devices.

Volkswagen taos

One of the most anticipated Volkswagen novelties will enter the Russian market in July. The compact Taos is an analogue of the Skoda Karoq. The German model will be offered with a 1.6-liter "atmospheric", producing up to 110 hp, and a 150-horsepower turbo engine with a volume of 1.4 liters. Complete with Taos, you can buy a digital dashboard, dual-zone climate, cruise control, parking assistant and many other assistants and systems.

Volkswagen teramont

In the course of restyling, this already large crossover was lengthened by 7.5 centimeters. Volkswagen also updated the radiator grill and a number of other exterior details. But otherwise Teramont remains the same. The German family crossover after restyling will be offered in Russia with many driver's assistants, including a parking assistant, four-wheel drive, 3-zone climate and two 220 and 249 hp motors.

UAZ "Baikal"

"Baikal" is a revised "Loaf", which differs from its prototype only in its external styling. The novelty is designed for lovers of long trips. For them, "Baikal" provides a sink and refrigerator in the cabin, a transforming sofa, awning awning and other devices. The car was also supplemented with a snorkel with pneumatic shock absorbers that can adjust the ground clearance.

Mahindra Scorpio

The updated frame SUV, which will cost about 1.2 million rubles in terms of Russian currency, should enter the Indian market in July. It is expected that the Scorpio will receive cruise control, multimedia, roll-over prevention system and other equipment not found in its predecessor. The novelty will be equipped by default with a 2-liter turbocharged engine, which can be replaced for a surcharge with a 2, 2-liter turbodiesel. Both units are borrowed from the cheaper Mahindra Thar. But their power will be increased.

Seat Tarraco PHEV

If we do not consider the appearance of expensive sports cars such as McLaren Artura or Porsche 911 GTS, then in July the European market should be replenished with a single new model. It will be a Seat Tarraco with a hybrid setup based on a 1.4-liter 113-horsepower turbo engine and one electric motor. Together, this unit produces up to 242 hp.
