Summer will begin with the appearance of several "charged" new products for cars in 2020. It is noteworthy that it was for June that many automakers have planned the presentation of sports models. These include not only expensive Ferrari or Mercedes-Benz cars, but also relatively budget hatchbacks designed specifically for driving on race tracks. But, probably, June will be under the sign of BMW.

BMW M2 CS

The BMW M2 CS is a pretty original new car in 2020. The Bavarian model costs about 2 times more than the standard M2 Competition and will be released in limited edition. At the same time, the manufacturer has not yet announced the official number of copies planned for release. It is known that the BMW M2 CS received an upgraded 3-liter turbocharged engine, the maximum output of which was increased to 444 hp. In addition, the coupe differs from other modifications of the 2-Series due to new bodywork made to order. In particular, the roof is made of carbon fiber and the bonnet is made of plastic. Both solutions allowed the manufacturer to significantly reduce the weight of the vehicle.

The choice of buyers BMW M2 CS will be offered with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch. By default, the Bavarian novelty is equipped with an adaptive suspension and sports front seats, which come standard with the optional M Sport package. It is reported that the starting price of the BMW M2 CS is approximately 6.05 million rubles.

This coupe has been talked about for a long time. If other Bavarian new cars in 2020 are mainly designed for people who prefer executive cars, then this new product is intended primarily for fans of high speeds. The BMW M8 is the fastest and most powerful coupe that the manufacturer currently produces. The Bavarian novelty will be released only in the Competition version. It comes with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine inherited from the M8's standard 8-Series coupe. The maximum power of this engine is increased to 616 hp. Thanks to this performance, the German novelty develops the first 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds.

But this is not the only thing that reveals the features of the BMW M8. The new coupe delivers the highest levels of comfort, with leather upholstery, air suspension and four-wheel drive for optimum torque distribution between the wheels.

Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid

Citroen C5 Aircross stands out from the general range of models, which are scheduled to debut in early summer. The new crossover in 2020 will be the first model of the French brand to receive a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The appearance of this SUV was expected, since Peugeot will bring the 3008 with a similar unit to the market a few months earlier. The PSA alliance as a whole has recently embarked on the path of "general" hybridization and electrification of its lineup. Therefore, the release of the new C5 Aircross is fully in line with the manufacturer's policy.

The presented crossover is built on the platform that formed the basis of the Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland X. In this regard, each of the named models is equipped with the same plug-in hybrid unit, the maximum power of which reaches 222 hp. The power reserve on one electric traction of the French crossover does not exceed 50 kilometers. Prices for the hybrid Citroen C5 Aircross start at 2.85 million rubles.

Ferrari SF90 Stradale

For June, Ferrari is slated to launch its most powerful road-legal novelty in 2020. The car is designed in corporate style and is somewhat reminiscent of LaFerrari. But in comparison with the latter, the new supercar is noticeably better. So, the SF90 Stradale is equipped with a turbocharged V8, developing about 769 hp. useful power. But such performance is not enough for a new supercar, and therefore Ferrari has introduced 3 electric motors at once. As a result, the hybrid plant, which is equipped with the SF90 Stradale, is capable of producing up to 986 hp. power.

Three electric motors are responsible for the rotation of the rear wheels. That is, they imitate an all-wheel drive system. Because of this, the Italian novelty is able to travel no more than 25 kilometers on electric traction. But even on this parameter, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale surpasses the LaFerrari, not to mention the fact that the supercar turned out to be more powerful than the hypercar. Moreover, it is also about 2 times cheaper. The LaFerrari has surpassed the $ 1 million mark when the SF90 Stradale will be offered for about $ 650-980 thousand.

Honda Civic Type R Nurburgring Edition

Honda plans to update the entire Civic family in 2020. In addition to the standard hatchback, modernization awaits its "charged" modification. According to preliminary information, the Japanese concern intends to rework the body and exterior of the car, make changes to its design and technical part, as well as introduce more modern and technological equipment.

But if these innovations are quite expected, then the news of the appearance of a special version of the Civic Type R, dedicated to the famous Nürburgring track, was sudden. This modification will be the most "hardcore" of those in which the Japanese hatchback is produced. The new model is likely to surpass the front-wheel drive lap record at the Nurburgring. However, the technical characteristics of the new hatchback have not yet been declassified.

Honda e

The Honda E is an all-new compact hatchback designed specifically for urban driving. The model combines electric motors and the sophistication of premium cars, which is rarely found in the products of the Japanese brand. At the same time, the body design is sustained in an urban (minimalist) style. In fact, the Honda E is a kind of redesigned analogue of the Jazz with an electric motor under the body. But unlike the latter, the former is relatively expensive. For the basic version of the Honda E, they will ask for about 2.17 million rubles. Moreover, this money will have to be paid for a car with a small power reserve. According to the declared technical characteristics, the new Honda E can travel up to 220 kilometers without recharging. The closest competitors of the Japanese hatchback have a longer range.

Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4Matic +

The sports division of AMG has prepared several new SUVs at once, which will be released in 2020. In the summer, a "charged" modification of the 7-seater model will enter the market. This car first appeared in the hands of AMG engineers. Thanks to their work, a truly versatile GLS was born, capable of competing with sports cars, but remaining a family SUV. Such capabilities are provided by a hybrid power plant based on a 4-liter biturbo unit, which develops up to 603 hp. useful power. Thanks to her, the German giant reaches 100 km / h in just 4.2 seconds. And the air suspension, which comes with the German novelty by default, is responsible for a comfortable ride.
