The beginning of autumn will be held under the "star" of the German auto giants. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Audi are preparing several of their new cars in 2020 for September. Buyers will be offered mainly hatchbacks and crossovers. But interesting sedans will also appear in September.

Audi A3

This new sedan of 2020, tentatively estimated at 2.1 million rubles, will go through another restyling by the beginning of autumn, during which the manufacturer will correct the appearance and interior of the car. Audi A3 will receive several petrol and diesel engines. Later, the market will be replenished with a "charged" version of the RS with a 400-horsepower engine, the price tag for which will be set at four million rubles.

Audi s3

The "charged" hatchback Audi S3 stands out from the competitors due to the 2-liter turbo engine, the maximum output of which exceeds 300 hp. According to preliminary information, the German concern is preparing a large-scale update of onboard equipment for its model. The S3 will likely get a diesel particulate filter and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Audi q5

The new 2020 crossover from Audi will be redesigned in the style of the previously unveiled Q7 and A4. The exterior of the Q5 will be complemented by other bumpers and smaller head optics. Among the changes that will affect the interior, it is worth highlighting the emergence of a new multimedia and entertainment complex with an extended touchscreen monitor.

Bmw 5-series

BMW has no plans to make major changes to the exterior of the 5-Series. That is, this model will slightly move away from the "older" 7-Series. However, the Bavarian new car in 2020 will face major changes that will affect the list of available equipment. In particular, the manufacturer will redesign the central monitor with touch control, improving its graphics, and modernizing the multimedia complex.

Ferrari 812 GTS

The Ferrari 812 GTS is the most powerful convertible in the history of not only the Italian brand, but the entire global automotive industry. For this model, the manufacturer has prepared an 8-cylinder V12, developing up to 880 hp. useful power. The 812 GTS is said to be slightly heavier than the hard-top prototype. However, this circumstance practically did not affect the dynamic characteristics of the Italian model. The roof is reported to open and close within 14 seconds.

Fiat 500e

Fiat has spent several years building its own electric car. The 500e is designed primarily for urban environments. In this regard, the car was equipped with a low-capacity battery. The technical characteristics and configuration of the Italian novelty have not yet been confirmed, but it is expected that it will differ from the standard Fiat 500e only in the type of engine installed.

Hyundai i30

Hyundai is quite interesting to bring its new cars in 2020. The restyled version of the i30 hatchback will hit the market later than its "charged" version of the i30N. It is known that within the framework of the modernization carried out, the car received quite significant improvements. Hyundai changed the appearance and interior of the hatchback, added new technological equipment and expanded the engine range due to previously unavailable units.

Jaguar E-Pace

The compact British crossover will have time to go through its first restyling by the fall of 2020. Jaguar will rework the E-Pace in the style of the "older" F-Type and XE models, thanks to which the SUV will acquire a more streamlined body and an expanded set of power units. The interior space is expected to remain the same. In the cabin, subtle improvements are expected to address the shortcomings of the previous version of the E-Pace.

Maserati ghibli

Maserati has scheduled three new 2020 vehicles for September. Almost simultaneously with other novelties, the Italian concern will present a modernized Ghibli, which will be able to compete on equal terms with the BMW 5-Series. The sports car will receive a hybrid power plant and a second-level semi-autonomous control system. Exterior and interior updates are also expected.

Maserati levante

The previous version of the Levante is not popular enough, so Maserati decided ahead of time to modernize the premium SUV. The car will reportedly receive new on-board equipment that will bring the Italian model closer to its main competitors.

Maserati quattroporte

The Italian sedan is expected to receive an exterior and interior update. For this model, they also prepared a proprietary hybrid installation so that it could compete with other representatives of the premium segment.

Mitsubishi outlander

One of the most popular Japanese crossovers will enter the world market in September. The 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain, which will be redesigned in accordance with modern consumer needs. In particular, it will include a more efficient electric motor. At the same time, the manufacturer has prepared a large-scale body update.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The ongoing modernization of the German sedan is intended to bring the design of the E-Class to the general style of the previously presented models. This car will also be released in cabriolet, station wagon and coupe bodies. In the cabin, most likely, there will be an improved multimedia and entertainment installation with voice control and a touchpad located on the transmission tunnel. The motor range is not expected to undergo major changes. However, Mercedes-Benz will release more versions of the E-Class, equipped with a "mild" hybrid. Later, the market will be replenished with a sedan, modified by AMG engineers.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class

In September 2020, a new, seventh generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class will enter the market. The German sedan is expected to receive the most advanced systems and technological equipment that will later appear on the remaining models. The S-Class will be built on a completely new platform that allows you to vary the size of the wheelbase. The latest photos show that the German sedan will receive the largest touchscreen display previously installed on a Mercedes-Benz model. The range of motors will include gasoline and diesel units, hybrid units, including those with a plug-in module. An all-electric version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class will hit the market in 2022.

Porsche 718 GT4 RS

Porsche has never produced an RS model before. It is expected that the new 718 GT4 will be more powerful than other modifications of this model. However, the technical characteristics of the sports car have not yet been announced. The car is expected to receive the new 4.0-liter engine previously debuted on the GT4.

Seat ateca

One of the most popular crossovers on the European market in September will go through restyling, which will bring changes to the exterior. The Seat Ateca salon will then become more comfortable, and the complete set will include new equipment. The Spanish crossover will also acquire a hybrid power plant with a 1.5-liter engine at its core.

Skoda Octavia iV

For the first time, the Octavia will receive a hybrid setup with a 1.4-liter turbo engine and a 101-horsepower electric motor. Its maximum output reaches 201 hp. This installation is combined with a 6-speed "robot" and a battery that provides a power reserve of 55 kilometers. Externally, the hybrid Octavia does not differ from other versions of the Czech liftback.

Toyota Rav4 Hybrid

The Rav4 Hybrid will be the fastest mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV. Acceleration to 100 km / h in the Japanese model takes about 6.2 seconds. The hybrid Rav4 covers about 60 kilometers on electric traction. It is stated that the crossover is equipped with a 2.5-liter engine and all-wheel drive by default.

Toyota Yaris

Unveiled in early January, the Toyota Yaris will hit the market in September 2020. The Japanese hatchback, which switched to a new platform, got a little larger and acquired previously unavailable equipment. Yaris is equipped with turbocharged units of 1 and 1.5 liters, as well as a hybrid installation with the latest engine at the base.

Volkswagen golf

In September, 4 "charged" modifications of the Golf will be presented at once: GTD, GTE, GTI and R. The first is equipped with a diesel engine with a "mild" hybrid. The Golf GTD achieves a maximum output of 181 hp. The second modification received a 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engine and an electric motor, thanks to which the total power of the hatchback is 242 hp. On electric traction, the German GTE model covers 69 kilometers.

Unlike the rest of the modifications, the GTI will retain the standard 2-liter internal combustion engine with a return of 242 or 287 hp. This version of the hatchback has a new aerodynamic body kit and a number of other changes that only affect the body. And the last, the most powerful modification of the Golf R is equipped with the same 2-liter engine with a return of 300 hp. It is assumed that this figure will later be increased to 350 hp.
