During the spring, AvtoVAZ announced several times that in three years the new Lada 4x4 2024 will enter the Russian market. However, the manufacturer has not yet specified which model will be redesigned: Legend or Travel. It is likely that AvtoVAZ will choose the first version of the SUV, as it is better known in Europe.
Due to the fact that there is still a lot of time left before the release of the new, second generation Lada Niva Legend, Volzhsky Automobile Plant may well make some changes to the current version of its model. And the independent designer showed on his renders what AvtoVAZ is capable of. The published images reveal Lada Niva Legends 2024 from a completely new side.
The presented SUV retained the angular body, characteristic of the first Niva, released in the 1970s. At the same time, the appearance of the car has changed dramatically. In fact, the similarity between the presented model and the current version of Niva Legend can be traced only in the silhouette of the body.
However, many of the exterior details seem to have been borrowed from the current SUV and reworked quite a lot. In particular, the presented novelty has retained the rectangular grille. But its appearance has changed a lot: it has become longer and acquired other lamellas. The presented SUV received the familiar round headlights. However, they have also undergone noticeable changes: there are now several horizontal LED strips inside the head optics.
The renders published show that when creating the new Niva 4x4 2024, the developer undertook redecoration that touched every detail of the bodywork. At the same time, the presented novelty was replenished with a plastic body kit, which is distinguished by more pronounced forms.
It should also be noted that the rear of this model is completely new. First of all, it looks more compact than the current version of the SUV. This effect is largely due to the narrow tail lights, which have moved closer to the center of the tailgate. This is also facilitated by the support legs, which now enter against the background of the stern. And this effect is fixed by a low "set" roof.
The technical part of the presented SUV probably remained the same. That is, under its hood is an 80-horsepower "atmospheric" engine with a volume of 1.7 liters, which is combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox and permanent all-wheel drive.
