More than a year has passed since Hyundai unveiled the second generation of the Creta crossover. The car is already available in many countries of the world, but has not yet reached the Russian market. More precisely, the crossover has made its debut by now, but its sales have not yet started. So it's no surprise that Hyundai has begun work on restyling the second-generation Creta. What changes will occur in the Korean model after the planned modernization is still unknown. But an independent designer showed how the restyled Hyundai Creta 2022-2023 might look like.

Based on the published renders, the Korean crossover will be a miniature copy of the latest Tucson. Both models are very similar to each other. First of all, the new Creta is equipped with the same original grille with LED lights on the sides, which are the same shape as the triangular inserts that make up its pattern. The presented crossover received narrowed head optics with LED lights. The wide block integrated into the side sections of the front bumper has become larger. It contains 2 sections of additional LED lights. The central air intake of the new Creta has also grown noticeably in size.
The similarities with the Tucson can be seen in the rear of the body. Here, the new Creta has fang-shaped LED lights, connected by a thin brake light strip. At the same time, the feed of the compact crossover looks narrower than that of its current version. This effect is probably due to the fact that the rear of the body has become more voluminous. Creta has a few additional folds on the side of the body, and the roofline still runs parallel to the roadway.

Officially, Hyundai has not yet commented on the restyling of its most popular crossover. But, probably, the manufacturer will not make changes to the technical part of the car and will slightly correct the list of on-board equipment. Specifically, Hyundai is unlikely to launch a hybrid version with a Tucson unit based on a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. In this regard, Hyundai Creta 2022-2023 will retain the previous "atmospheric" engines of 1, 6 and 2 liters, developing up to 123 and 149 hp. useful power, respectively.
