New Chinese brand Byton recently unveiled its debut electric car to the public. The 2020 Byton M-Byte car has acquired a luxurious interior, which is equipped with the latest technology. He has a spectacular appearance and a powerful economical power plant.
Specifications
The company plans to release the model in two versions with different capacities:
- the first version will be equipped with a rear axle drive and one electric motor, a power of 272 "horses" (200 kW) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. To power it, a storage battery with a capacity of 71 kWh is installed, which allows you to cover about 400 kilometers without recharging;
- the second option will receive an all-wheel drive system and two electric motors at once, which in total can develop up to 476 horsepower (350 kW). The torque reaches 710 Nm. The units are powered by a 95 kWh battery, thanks to which you can walk 520 km.
It takes no more than half an hour to recharge the battery to 80 percent. Instead of conventional side mirrors, video cameras are installed. Instead of door handles, cameras are also installed that recognize the faces of authorized users.
The model in question is produced in the back of an SUV and has the following dimensions:
- length - 4, 8 meters;
- width - 1, 9 meters;
- height - 1.6 meters;
- wheelbase - 2, 9 meters.
The car boasts four levels of control autonomy. This means that he is able to independently move along the transport highway. A person will need to intervene in the operation of the machine only when overcoming a difficult road section.
Exterior
This model has received an original and charismatic exterior, endowed with bright and stylish elements that will amaze all motorists, regardless of age. The futuristic, beautifully streamlined body impresses with its smooth sweeping lines and correct proportions. At the same time, the exterior is completely unique and there are no even hints of plagiarism. Designers from Germany worked on the development of the appearance of the novelty, so the electric car is completely different from a Chinese car.
Appearance features:
- the front part is equipped with a radiator grille of an interesting configuration, covered with a dense mesh. Head optics with LED-filling are made in an original form, they are perfectly combined with a massive bumper, which gives the look of anger. Below there are LED fog lights and daytime running lights;
- in profile, there are striking stampings on the doors and ribs that adorn the image of the car. The volumetric doors and large wheel arches with 22-inch alloy wheels and 265/40 R22 Continental tires attract attention. Elegance is given by the smooth window curvature and silhouette of the roof in the form of a coupe;
- the stern is a monolithic structure with a small tailgate, compact glass and a spoiler. Dimensional optics based on LEDs extend along the body in a narrow strip.

Interior
The interior space of the 2020 Byton M-Byte car is impressive. The abundance of screens that are present literally everywhere is striking. At the same time, there are practically no physical controls. For decoration, expensive, high-quality materials were used: natural and artificial leather, fabric, elements of wood and aluminum.
The salon is designed for four adult passengers. At the back, instead of a classic sofa, there are two separate armchairs. There is enough free legroom even for a large passenger. There is also enough headroom for the head, despite the sloping roof.
The profiled chairs are very comfortable. They have excellent lateral support, soft filling and the widest range of electrical adjustments. Their convenient structure allows you to travel long distances in comfort. Heating is provided. The front seats can be slightly deployed in the middle of the passenger compartment so that passengers in the second row can view the information that is posted on the main screen.
Ergonomics are at the highest level and the driver does not need to be distracted from the road, since all the required options are located nearby, and there is no need to reach for them. The roof of the novelty is made of high-strength glass and makes it possible to enjoy a panoramic view of the night sky.

The novelty will be produced in China, sold mainly in the American and Chinese markets. The price of the 2020 Byton M-Byte crossover is approximately 2 million 600 thousand rubles.
