The car company from China BYD, last year, launched its new second-generation crossover called Tang on the world market. The car was immediately remembered by the public due to its striking appearance. It is worth noting that the chief artist of the Italian company Alfa Romeo took part in the development of the design. Until now, the car was sold only in hybrid and gasoline versions, but very soon the Chinese company plans to start selling the model in an electric version.

It is expected that the novelty will receive a prefix to the name EV600, and the "green" crossover will go on sale next month, but only in China. This version will also differ from the petrol version by the presence of special nameplates on the body, as well as a revised radiator grille.
The crossover will move using two electrical installations. One motor will sit between the front wheels and the other between the rear wheels. The total output of the installations will be 490 horses. Thanks to such power, the novelty will accelerate to "hundreds" in just 4, 4 seconds, which makes the electric version of BYD Tang the most powerful of the entire available line. But the maximum speed of the electric SUV will be only 180 km per hour, but this is done specifically to reduce energy consumption. Accordingly, the power reserve will be increased.

The dimensions of the electric car will look like this:
- new length - 479 cm;
- body width - 195 cm;
- height - 172.5 cm;
- the distance between the wheels is 282 cm.
Note that the standard version of the crossover is offered in the usual version with a five-seater cabin layout, as well as in an extended version. This model is equipped with a spacious interior with seven seats. By default, the large wheel arches are fitted with 22-inch designer rims.
It is worth highlighting the impeccable interior design of the car. In its very center there is a large screen of a multimedia installation, which looks like a tablet and is attached using a special mechanism. Thanks to this system, the screen can be rotated at a convenient angle for the driver. Also, the novelty has completely lost the classic dashboard. Now its role is played by a fully digital monitor with a bright image.

The Tang EV600 version will be available in China at a price of 260 thousand yuan, which is about 2,550 thousand rubles.
