The legendary representative of the C-class American car Ford Focus 2022 left the Russian market a few years ago, but many are still interested in the fate of the model that can be found in Europe. On average, for every 100 km of run in the combined cycle, the "American" will spend 4, 7 - 6, 1 liter of AI-95 fuel in petrol versions and 3, 5 - 4, 6 liters in turbodiesel versions. It should be noted that such indicators are achieved only under optimal operating conditions. Most often, in everyday life, the consumption will be noticeably higher. In terms of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, this model complies with the Euro-6 standard.
Ford Focus in the current generation boasts good dynamic performance. The car accelerates to the first hundred from a standstill in 8 - 13 seconds. At the same time, the maximum speed is limited to marks of 205 - 222 km / h. It should be noted that these parameters are relevant for the more popular models in the hatchback body. In the station wagon version, the five-seater model has a slightly higher fuel consumption and less impressive dynamics.
If you evaluate this car in terms of dimensions, then you will not be able to notice a serious difference in comparison with the "classmates". Currently, in Europe, Ford Focus 2022 can be purchased in eight different variations. We are talking about versions: Trend, Cool & Connect, Titanium, Titanium X, ST-Line X, Active, Active X, ST Style. In terms of Russian currency, the current price for a car is set in the range from 1.5 to 2.18 million rubles. The equipment of the model includes a basic set of options, which, regardless of the version, can be expanded for a surcharge due to "special stages". Since the variations are not so significantly different in terms of equipment, it is worth considering the most affordable option and top-end equipment.
In the "base" for the "American" you will have to pay 1.5 million rubles or more, depending on the selected power unit and additional equipment. The hatchback equipment includes such options as:

- electric and heated side mirrors;
- electric power steering;
- power windows front and rear;
- information display on the "tidy" 10, 7 inches;

Handling and off-road performance
What the 2022 Ford Focus really did gain universal recognition was its excellent handling, which continues to persist despite the change of generations. In the fourth generation, this is an even more interesting car in terms of handling. The hatchback holds the road well and obediently reacts to the steering wheel, regardless of driving speed. Also, while driving such a car, you should not worry about stability, since a high-quality suspension in conjunction with anti-roll bars keep the car on the track like a glove.
Unfortunately, as in previous generations, the model cannot boast of cross-country ability. This is still a city car with a low ground clearance, which helps out only on a "dirt road" and on rough terrain in dry weather.
Advantages and disadvantages
The Ford Focus car in the current generation still demonstrates the optimal combination of price and build quality. The hatchback received rich equipment and good safety, however, these are not the main advantages of the car. The main advantages of the car include moderate fuel consumption, regardless of the modification. Most competitors cannot boast of such indicators, however, do not forget that these are only the values declared by the manufacturer. Also, a spectacular appearance can be attributed to the number of positive qualities. The Ford Focus car is strikingly different from competitors, demonstrating a successful combination of style, newfangled design trends and recognizable outlines.
Not without disadvantages in this case. Chief among them, these are still weak seals, which affects the sound insulation and feel when traveling on public roads.
What the fourth generation model will definitely be able to please its future owner is its spectacular appearance. Ford Focus in the current generation turned out to be recognizable at first glance, and at the same time completely new in comparison with its predecessors. The car successfully combines style and grace, and also demonstrates a certain luxury that you will not find in most "classmates". Most of all, attention is drawn to the front side of the car, which has received stylish optics, a massive radiator grille, and an elegant air intake on the bumper.
The interior of the car looks rich, despite the absence of any spectacular decorative elements. Inside, you will find a practical placement of the main controls, as well as the standard style of devices, which in Focus has not changed so much compared to the previous generation.
The initial premiere of the car in the fourth generation took place in 2018, after which, almost immediately, free sales of the car began in Europe. According to the standard, at first the car was shown in sedan, station wagon and hatchback bodies, however, now only station wagons and hatchbacks are sold on the European market. It is worth recalling that Ford has almost completely left the Russian market, leaving only commercial vehicles, so there is no need to wait for the Focus in Russia in the current version.
