The most affordable is the Niva Legend SUV (previously sold under the name Lada 4 × 4). The car, which has been present in the AvtoVAZ lineup since 1977, is the longest-liver on the Russian market. During its existence, it has gained popularity among most motorists and is rated by them as a practical, reliable and affordable SUV in terms of cost. At the moment, Lada Niva Legend is presented on the market in three or five-door versions, the price of which starts at 607, 9 and 658, 9 thousand rubles, respectively.

Lada Niva Travel
The next on the list was Lada Niva Travel, which, having moved to the camp of the Russian manufacturer, quickly received an update. Now the price for the new model starts at 762.9 thousand rubles. In comparison with Niva Legend, this car has a more modern and stylish appearance, as well as a more comfortable interior.
As for the technical parameters of the Niva, it is equipped with a 1.7-liter naturally aspirated engine, the efficiency of which is 80 hp. All modifications are equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive with a reduction gear. Finding a used version of an SUV on the market is difficult, since it just went on sale. But the first generation Lada Niva, which until recently was associated with the Chevrolet brand, can be purchased for 500-550 thousand.
UAZ Patriot
The third option, which experts highlight, is the UAZ Patriot. Its cost in the database is 840.6 thousand rubles. A serious advantage of the Ulyanovsk model is its impressive size. The luggage compartment of a car holds from 650 to 2415 liters of cargo. Also, this car is much more modern in comparison with the two previous representatives of the domestic auto industry. Renault Duster and Haval H5

We are talking about Renault Duster and Haval H5, which will also perfectly cope with the responsibilities assigned to them. Both SUVs are more expensive than Russian cars. And if Renault Duster can be purchased for less than 1 million (the updated version is estimated at 945 thousand, and the first generation - at 912), then the purchase of Haval H5 will cost at least 1.4 million.
Each of the foreign cars is equipped with all-wheel drive, automatic or manual transmissions, as well as powerful motors (an engine with a turbine is also available for the updated Duster). Naturally, in the secondary market, the purchase of such models will be significantly cheaper.
