The secondary market is rich in quite interesting offers. However, there are not so many ads in which they offer to purchase a really high-quality used crossover up to 500 thousand rubles. But, despite this, it is still possible to find a used car on the secondary market that will last for several years, for the indicated amount.

11th place. Chery Tiggo 2013
Chery Tiggo 2013 release, in fact, is a "clone" of the second generation Toyota Rav4. The Chinese model borrows the exterior, interior, suspension, platform and other details from the Japanese crossover. The only thing that Chery actually did was to modernize the front part of the body. Perhaps it was thanks to this that Tiggo enjoyed relatively high popularity in the Russian market. In addition, it is worth noting that the model was assembled at the Kaliningrad Automobile Plant. Due to this, the Chinese crossover is inexpensive to maintain. In the secondary market, there are ads for the sale of Chery Tiggo with all-wheel drive, manual transmission and a 2-liter 136-horsepower engine.

10th place. Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage 2007
Both Korean models, released between 2007 and 2009, practically did not differ from each other externally and internally. And the technical equipment of the crossovers was the same. Only the Tucson was equipped with an additional diesel engine with a return of 150 hp, which, after 100 thousand kilometers, created quite serious problems for drivers. However, as the owners say, this motor is characterized by tapping after starting.

Both second-generation Korean cars are equipped with fully independent suspension, air conditioning, audio system, on-board computer and immobilizer. Also on the secondary market there are four-wheel drive modifications of crossovers.
9th place. SsangYong Actyon 2010

This Korean crossover is powered by a pretty decent 2-liter engine developed by Hyundai and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This motor is capable of covering up to 200 thousand kilometers without any particular difficulties. SsangYong Actyon has a relatively rich package, which, in particular, includes an air conditioning system and an audio system. It would seem an excellent option when choosing a used crossover up to 500,000 rubles. However, the Korean model has a number of significant drawbacks. Firstly, when decorating the interior, the manufacturer used low-quality materials that quickly deteriorate. Secondly, the crossover does not show outstanding dynamic performance. If you need a car with good acceleration, it is recommended to purchase versions with a manual transmission. Thirdly, the Actyon was equipped with a "weak" electric power steering.
8th place. Mitsubishi Outlander 2009

The second generation Mitsubishi Outlander was very popular in Russia, so there are many offers on the sale of this model in the secondary market. The Japanese crossover was equipped with electrically adjustable door windows and side mirrors, an audio system, air conditioning and other equipment. Depending on the modification, the second generation Mitsubishi Outlander was equipped with 2, 2, 4 and 3 liter gasoline engines, the power of which varied within 170-223 hp. Together with these motors, a continuously variable variator or a manual transmission was installed.
7th place. Nissan Qashqai 2009

This model is considered one of the best in its class. Nissan Qashqai has an ergonomic interior, finished with high quality materials that do not wear out after several years of use. True, over time, the paint on the body changes its original color. The 2009 Qashqai stood out due to its good sound insulation and handling. The model is distinguished by relatively rich equipment. The Japanese crossover was equipped with both gasoline and diesel engines. It is not recommended to purchase Qashqai with the first engines due to the fact that the turbine needs to be replaced after 150 thousand kilometers. It will be more profitable to buy a crossover with a diesel unit and automatic transmission, which in tandem create an ideal combination. But it is almost impossible to find Qashqai in this performance on the secondary market.
6th place. Renault Koleos 2008

Perhaps the only drawback of Renault Koleos is its unattractive exterior. Otherwise, this car has become one of the best in its class and among used crossovers up to 500,000 rubles. The French crossover outperforms its competitors in terms of cabin noise insulation and smoothness, and in terms of equipment it is in many ways reminiscent of the Nissan X-Trail. The 2008 Koleos was equipped with 2- and 2.4-liter engines, combined with a continuously variable variator. In the all-wheel drive versions of the crossover, a clutch was installed, which, due to frequent off-road use, begins to heat up. The purchase of Koleos with a 2-liter diesel unit is considered optimal.
5th place. Suzuki Grand Vitara 2009

Suzuki Vitara features an integrated frame and all-wheel drive. Thanks to this feature, the Japanese crossover copes well with off-road conditions. Another important plus of this model is that it was equipped with a 2-liter engine and an automatic transmission, which surpass many analogues in terms of reliability. However, after several tens of thousands of kilometers, the engine begins to consume too much oil. Among the shortcomings of the Suzuki Grand Vitara, there is a body of insufficient rigidity, an air conditioner and a tailgate, which over time begins to sag. With the rest of the details, problems do not arise, at least until the first 100 thousand kilometers.
4th place. Great Wall Hover 2014

On the fourth line of the rating of used crossovers up to 500,000 rubles, several Great Wall models are placed at once: Hover, Hover H3 and H5. This is explained by the fact that these crossovers, in fact, represent a single model: the differences between the cars are insignificant. One of the main features of the Hover is that it is a full-fledged SUV with a monocoque frame and four-wheel drive. The second important advantage of the Chinese model is that relatively “fresh” versions of the car with rich equipment are found in the secondary market for the indicated amount.

Hover also stands out due to its spacious interior, finished with good materials. But the latter fade or fade over time. Another disadvantage of the Hover is sour contacts, which often cause problems with on-board electronics. On the other hand, the Chinese model was equipped with Mitsubishi motors, which are not satisfactory. If the oil in them and other quickly wearing parts is changed in a timely manner, then these engines will withstand up to 350 thousand kilometers.
3rd place. Hyundai Santa Fe 2013

The first generation of the Korean model is still considered one of Hyundai's most successful products. The car has an attractive design even for today. In the Santa Fe showroom, there are high-quality finishing materials that retain their original appearance for a long time. And the interior itself is designed to provide maximum comfort for the driver. In the Russian secondary market, there are Santa Fe of the first generation with a gasoline engine with a volume of 2, 7 liters or with a 2-liter turbocharged diesel unit. A 4-speed manual transmission is installed with each of these engines.
2nd place. Renault Duster 2014

Renault Duster is a complete workhorse. If we consider the crossover from this point of view, then the insufficiently comfortable interior, executed in a simple (even Spartan) style, will seem attractive. Another drawback of Duster is that the paint quickly becomes cloudy. Otherwise, the French crossover is in many ways superior to its competitors, which explains its high popularity in both the primary and secondary markets. And the initially low price allows you to find for 500 thousand rubles a relatively "fresh" Duster with a reliable suspension, mechanical or automatic transmission, diesel or gasoline engine. The first engine makes high demands on fuel quality. Therefore, car enthusiasts recommend buying a used Duster with a 2-liter petrol unit.
1st place. Toyota Rav4 2005

Despite such an impressive period that has passed since its release, the second generation Toyota Rav4 remains a relevant crossover today. The Japanese model is distinguished by increased reliability and high-quality motors that do not require major repairs for half a million kilometers. The second generation Rav4 also has four-wheel drive modifications, which provide for a 2-liter engine that develops up to 152-155 hp. power.
