Another negative point is the formation of whole oil crusts in the catalyst. During the combustion of fuel with acetone, the unburned residues have nowhere to go. Therefore, they are sent to the catalyst, clogging the latter. In turn, clogging entails additional problems for the motorist.
Also, in practice, there were cases when modern acetone simply froze even at a temperature of minus 20 degrees Celsius. If the car enthusiast actually decided to take such a step related to cleaning the internal combustion engine and the fuel system, then such manipulations should be performed once a quarter. If you do this more often, then the accompanying problems will not take long.
