Market analysts have analyzed all the reviews of the owners of cars with such a transmission and have compiled their own list of models that are equipped with reliable gearboxes.
The third position in this list belongs to the Nissan X-Trail crossover. For this model, the installation of a Jatco variator is provided, which works equally well both in tandem with a 2-liter engine, and with a 2.5-liter unit. This type of transmission is capable of covering a distance of 250 thousand km.
The second was the Mitsubishi Outlander SUV equipped with the same CVT version as the Nissan X-Trail. Apparently, due to the installation of other engine options in a pair to it, the gearbox will be able to overcome the mileage of 300 thousand kilometers and will not require major repairs.
The leading position in this case went to another representative from Japan - the Toyota RAV4 crossover. For this SUV, the Aisin CVT is proposed, which is known as a reliable transmission. Due to the fact that the gearbox received a cooling system compatible with the engine, its resource significantly increases. Without major repairs, the box is capable of traveling about 350 thousand kilometers.
