Kyrgyzstan, which is part of the countries of the EAEU bloc, has its first car manufacturer. We are talking about the Kami Motors company. It is reported that this developer has already managed to create a compact delivery truck, named Nimble. At the first stage, "Agile", as its name is translated, will be produced under specific orders in small batches.
Its main difference from competitors in this segment is the all-electric power plant with a capacity of 15 kW. This electric motor drives the rear axle, which means 4x2 operation. A 100 A * h battery is designed to provide power for this power plant. This indicator allows us to speak about overcoming a distance of approximately 110 kilometers without additional recharging.
The dimensions of the body of the new Kami Nimble are 4240x1600x1980 mm, and the cargo platform is 2700x1600 mm. The Kyrgyz electric truck is capable of transporting 700 kg, which is only 100 kg less than that of the standard UAZ "Tadpole". Due to its compact size, the car can move without restrictions on public roads.
The exterior materials of the cab are made of composite materials, and under them is a metal frame made of steel pipes. In order to reduce the price tag for your car as much as possible, the Kyrgyz specialists made all the outer panels and glass of the car flat. Also, the truck received a round head optics, familiar to Soviet-style models. Among other things, the specialists tried to unify the chassis of the car as much as possible with some cars of the Russian AvtoVAZ. It is expected that the price of the novelty will be 520 thousand rubles. It may appear on sale in our country as well.
