The GAZ company never ceases to delight the public with original and practical inventions, and recently the manufacturer showed a new version of the Next GAZelle, which was created specifically for retail trade.
It is worth noting that several performances fall under one model at once. The first instance is a refrigerated truck with increased carrying capacity. According to the assurances of representatives, it is perfect for transporting ice cream and other perishable products that must be stored exclusively at low temperatures. In total, the GAZelle body will fit 1, 2 tons of cargo. By the way, this is the first refrigerator created on this basis.
In the body, the temperature remains low due to the content in special sections of the salt mixture and cold accumulators, which operate on electricity. The salt mixture maintains the temperature when the car is in transit, and the system can be connected to the mains when parked. The power of the cooling device and the amount of salt mixture directly depend on the size of the body, the expected load and the region where the vehicle will be used. For the hottest areas, a special version of the refrigerator has been prepared, in the chamber of which the air temperature can reach -35 degrees.
In addition to this version, the Gorky plant presented two more cars. We are talking about a food truck, as well as a car shop. They were based on the cargo version of the Nekst and the bus. These models are equipped with special display cases, generators, as well as tanks for storing water of various volumes. The system can work autonomously for 8 hours (that is, an average working day). You can also additionally connect external power supplies.
However, this equipment is only relevant for exhibition samples. Additionally, the manufacturer can complete the models with folding tables, visors, refrigerators, sanitary points, coffee machines and other kitchen equipment. That is, the new GAZelle Next can easily play the role of a full-fledged food court, where you can cook simple meals.
No price tags were announced during the presentation. Also, the manufacturer did not tell the public exactly when such cars will go on sale. The novelties should be of interest to small private entrepreneurs and large organizations that plan to organize outdoor events in the summer.
