The new law makes motorists think about the presence of even minor tuning on their car. In connection with the transformation of the provisions on changing the design of the vehicle, it is necessary to coordinate each step of the "upgrade" with representatives of the traffic police. But what if the tuning is already there? Experts told how to behave for drivers who once improved the car, and now are forced to justify their actions in front of the authorities.

Until recently, tuning was extremely popular, so a huge number of cars with minor modifications travel around the country. In Russia, the most common methods of unification of their "iron horse" include: the appearance of tinting on the rear windows, the installation of gas equipment, changing the standard optics to xenon or LED.
In connection with the official permission to issue a fine for non-compliance with the factory form, representatives of the traffic police began increasingly to stop drivers in order to check the consistency of such changes. Statistics show that most drivers avoid such bureaucratic difficulties by relying on the prevalence of tuning. But in vain. Recently, changes to bumpers, roof racks, engine and even discs have been banned. This is not the entire list of prohibited modifications. If such an "upgrade" is found, the driver will pay a fine of 500 rubles. However, the problems do not end there, for some violations you will have to answer much more seriously:
- for the installation of headlights with red light in place of head optics - deprivation of rights for a period of 4 to 6 months;
- for special sound signals "will take away" the rights for 12-18 months;
- an ordinary sticker "disabled" without documentary evidence will cost 5,000 rubles;
- signs and diagrams of operational services will cost 12-18 months of deprivation of rights;
- the color scheme of a passenger taxi is estimated at 5,000 rubles.

If it so happens that the inspector has already stopped, then you can try to "hook" his humanity. Firstly, employees do not always remember by heart the complete set of all models, so you can really get a fine “at idle”. But let's imagine a situation where the changes have been made. Then you can use the second method - to persuade the traffic police officer to pay a fine with the promise to remove everything today. In this case, you can do without the "prescription of bringing the car to the factory state."

If it is nevertheless written out, you will have to contact the traffic police department for the legalization of tuning, where they will be able to establish the legality of the changes. Further, the entire "upgrade" is removed, a conclusion is given on the passage of a technical examination, with which the driver again applies to the authorities and goes through the necessary procedure before registration. If the motorist ignores the decree, the registration will be canceled, and it will be illegal to use the vehicle in this form.
