Fans of the Soviet SUV have long been convinced that the manufacturer is obliged to move to a new level. The existing version of Lada 4 × 4 is frankly outdated and requires no less thoughtful and simple replacement. In addition, they would like to really complicate the "stuffing", and not "get off" by changing the color of the speedometer scale. Thus, the requirements deviate towards the development of new opportunities and, of course, an alternative format.

It was this idea that inspired the designers of the Autoportal "Wheels", who recently published a visualization, to think about what, in their opinion, the original version of a pickup might look like if a VAZ-2329 was taken as a donor.
It is worth saying that the designers of AvtoVAZ have already proposed a new project to the management. The prototype they proposed was reviewed, a concept was created based on the VAZ-21213, which was subsequently indexed as the VAZ-2329. Moreover, they even managed to establish a limited edition of the model.
The designer version turned out to be much more organic, due to the increase in the number of doors. The prototype had a two-door generation, the new version is presented in a four-door version. Thus, the cab is more harmonious and foldable.

The profile as a whole has also undergone a change. Here you can see the appearance of wider arches, where it is proposed to insert enlarged SUV tires, which would be very logical considering the segment being sold. As a result, it became possible to create a comfortable nut.
Changes have also taken place with the head optics. The inconspicuous headlights were replaced by stylish LED technology with complicated geometry. This pre-formation supports the idea of a modern machine with improved equipment.

Power plants did not stand aside. They have gained more power. Now, under the hood, there should be a 143-horsepower gasoline engine familiar to Renault connoisseurs. Of course, it's silly to say that the proposed concept will someday appear on sale. Most likely, it will remain one more unrealized project. But it is likely that the creators of this image will push the current designers of the Russian auto giant to create a new version of the domestic "all-terrain vehicle" in the back of a pickup truck.
