The Chinese corporation Chery has begun preparations for the debut in Russia of the CheryExeed VX SUV, which is produced by the manufacturer's premium sub-brand. On the eve, representatives of the company shared data on the appearance of the car, and also revealed several facts about the car. So, it became known that a whole group of designers who previously worked in such car concerns as Mazda, BMW, Jaguar worked on the exterior of the SUV.
Creating the exterior of the car, they were inspired by the data known to mankind about the Earth and the Universe. For example, the radiator grill has received filling, which is three parallel stripes indicating the boundaries between the layers of the atmosphere. The use of chrome in the finish alludes to the "coldness" that is present in the form of low temperatures in space.
Another feature is the head optics. So, the design of its internal filling is made in the form of crystals from water droplets, which, according to the designers, should fill the interstellar void. The running lights of an SUV are comet tails. As for the car itself, it is known that it is based on the latest M3X platform. The dimensions of the SUV body are 4970x1940x1788 mm, and the center distance is 2900 mm. With such dimensions, the car will become a real competitor to the bestselling SUV Toyota Land Cruiser 300.
The premium Exeed VX received a solid ground clearance of 200 mm and a luggage compartment, which in the base has a volume of 520 liters. The company did not begin to talk about the available power units that will be used to equip the Russian version of the car, promising to do so later. It is reported that the debut of an SUV on the territory of the Russian Federation should take place by the end of this year.
