In Russia, the lineup of the Exeed brand, owned by Chery, is presented in a very limited quantity: now you can only purchase the TXL crossover. But the flagship VX will soon be joining it. This will happen, according to preliminary information, at the beginning of autumn. Later, other models of the Chinese sub-brand are expected to appear in Russia.
One of them should be the Exeed LX crossover, which has recently been updated and has already entered the home market. Here the car is estimated at a minimum of 1.27 million rubles at the current exchange rate. Despite the relatively low cost, the Chinese novelty in terms of equipment and technical characteristics is comparable to the more expensive Mazda CX-5. And some interior details make the Exeed LX look like a Range Rover Sport.
So, the on-board electronics of the Chinese model supports remote control and the function of recognizing the driver by biometric data. By default, the crossover is equipped with a touchscreen and a virtual instrument panel connected to each other. Their diagonal is 12.3 inches. Multimedia and some other functions of Exeed LX can be controlled using a special application installed on a smartphone. In addition, the seats of the Chinese model are upholstered in artificial leather, there is a dual-zone climate with a separate screen and other equipment.
Only one supercharged motor is supplied with the updated Exeed LX. Under the hood of the crossover is a 1.5-liter unit with a maximum output of 156 hp. and a thrust of 230 N * m. Four-wheel drive is not provided for this model. But there is a continuously variable variator that simulates 9 gears.
