As you know, by the end of this year, the Chinese manufacturer of premium cars Exeed will bring to the Russian market its flagship VX crossover, which many call a competitor to Toyota Highlander and Land Cruiser.
The day before, a crash test of this model was published on the Web, which demonstrates how safe the SUV is. Moreover, the test was not carried out in the usual mode, but was distinguished by increased complexity, since during the test there was a collision of two Exeed VXs moving towards each other at a speed of 128 km / h.

As a result of such an accident, both models flew in different directions. The crossover hit, suffered more damage, and its A-pillar was deformed. According to the commission, both models proved to be more than worthy in terms of safety. After the collision, their doors were unlocked, the pillows worked clearly, and the fuel system was not damaged. As a result, both models received the highest possible crash test score. Moreover, the cross that took the hit earned an estimate of 99.8%, and the one that struck it scored a 100% result. Toyota Land Cruiser has similar characteristics.
According to experts, the crossover was able to achieve such an indicator thanks to its M3X platform, which is approximately 70% of high-strength steel grades and even surpasses the Jeep Grand Cherokee in terms of body rigidity.
The dimensions of the flagship Exeed VX are 4970x1940x1795 mm, and the distance between the axles reaches 2900 mm. The list of available engines includes two turbo engines of 1, 6 and 2 liters, which interact with the "robot" at 7 speeds, as well as front or all-wheel drive. The price of a SUV in China is in the range of 1, 9-2, 6 million rubles.
