The day before, photographs of the updated version of the premium SUV Exeed TXL, made in the Moscow region, were published on the Web. It is assumed that one of the domestic motorists was able to photograph a cross brought to the territory of the Russian Federation for certification. However, as it turned out, the author of the photo was able to capture another model - a more compact premium Exeed LX. Moreover, in the case of a smaller SUV, the car enthusiast also managed to see the details of the car's interior.
As you know, Exeed LX is the most compact SUV produced by the premium sub-brand Chery, which is called CheryExeed on the Russian market. The dimensions of the cross body are 4533x1848x1699 mm, and the center distance is 2670 mm. In terms of equipment, the SUV is comparable to the Japanese Toyota RAV4.
New CheryExeed LX in Russia
Apparently, for certification in Russia, the developer brought not only an updated version of Exeed TXL, but also a compact LX. Chery's management has already announced its desire to put this model on sale in the domestic market several times. The expected debut date of the new CheryExeed LX is the second half of this year.
What the technical performance of the car will turn out to be on the Russian car market has not yet been reported. It is known that on the territory of China, the cross is equipped with turbo engines of 1, 5 and 1, 6 liters, the performance of which is 156 and 197 horsepower, respectively. By the way, these units are already known on the Russian market, since they are used to equip Chery Tiggo 8 and CheryExeed TXL. A less efficient motor is complemented by a 7-speed "robot", but a more powerful one relies on a variator gearbox. The price for a cross on the Chinese car market is 1.23-1.69 million rubles in equivalent.
