It seems that an updated version of the Exeed TXL premium crossover will debut in the domestic car market in the near future. This can be judged on the basis of the fact that photographs of a new generation of Chinese SUVs, which are sold in Russia under the CheryExeed brand, made in one of the parking lots in the Moscow Region, appeared on the Web the day before.
If we talk about the differences between the current and future versions of TXL, then it should be noted that the updated cross has a wider radiator grille, new bumpers in design, as well as narrower taillights, merged into a single unit due to the installation of an LED jumper on the tailgate.
New CheryExeed TXL in Russia
Considering the fact that nameplates with hieroglyphs are installed on the body of the new Exeed TXL, it is logical to assume that this instance arrived in Russia from China. There may be several reasons for this. The crossover can take part in promotional events, it could have been brought in for the purpose of demonstrating its abilities and familiarization by employees of Chery dealerships, or the car can currently be certified for further sale in the Russian car market.
Earlier, the management of the Russian office of Chery has already announced that they plan to launch an updated version of the Exeed TXL SUV on the Russian market. The images of the crossover published in the Rospatent database also indirectly confirm the fact that the model will soon arrive at dealerships.
The technical characteristics of the new CheryExeed TXL, which belongs to the same class of cars as the Kia Sorento, will not differ from the current version of the cross. Under its hood will be installed all the same 1.6-liter turbo engine, the performance of which is equal to 186 "horses". A pair of it will be a "robot" for 7 gears and front or all-wheel drive. The price for the updated version of the car is still unknown.
