The Chinese brand CheryExeed, specializing in the production of premium crossovers, as promised, has brought a new SUV to the Russian market - the compact LX. It should become a competitor for the German VW Tiguan.
This became known after the photographs with several LX crossovers were made and published on the Web by Russian motorists. They were loaded onto an auto transporter and transported around the Moscow Ring Road. The photos were reportedly taken on May 18th. The car transporter itself was moving in the direction of Dmitrovskoe highway, where Chery's office in Russia is located. According to experts, after these SUVs reach their destination, they will be sent to undergo certification procedures.

Judging by what we can see in the published photographs, there are no visual differences between the model sold in China and the version brought to the Russian market. The front of the body is distinguished by a stylish and unusual radiator grill, which is designed as horizontal slots below the bonnet. The feed is equipped with very powerful lanterns, which are combined with an LED strip.
For the first time, data that Chery will bring a new premium cross from the Exeed sub-brand to the Russian car market appeared last year. And less than a month ago, the same information was confirmed by the head of the office of the Chinese brand on the territory of our country. Then he said that the arrival of the new CheryExeed LX on the Russian car market is expected in the second half of this year.
It is not yet known what characteristics the new product will have on the territory of the Russian Federation. For example, we can cite the performance of Exeed LX in the Chinese market. There, the SUV relies on a 1.5-liter engine producing 156 "horses", or a 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 197 hp. A variator or a "robot" is used as a transmission. The price of the crossover starts at 1.26 million rubles in equivalent.
