Honda, following the recent debut of the Acura NSX Type S supercar, apparently decided to please fans of the premium brand with another novelty. The manufacturer has released a teaser image that shows the Integra returning to the market.
Latest version of Acura Integra
This car, according to the description, will officially debut only in 2022. The manufacturer said the new Integra will be a premium compact model. At the same time, Honda did not disclose almost any details about the exterior and other features of the model. But thanks to the drone show that took place during the presentation of the NSX Type S, you can already get some idea of the revived Integra.

This picture contradicts previously published information. Honda last year informed its dealers of a possible return to the market of the Acura Integra. But then it was about a full-fledged sedan.

The body change is likely due in part to the fact that Honda recently phased out production of the Civic coupe. This model will be able to replace the premium coupe Acura Integra. And, perhaps, the Japanese novelty will be based on the latest generation Civic platform. According to rumors, the premium model will receive the same engine as the aforementioned Si sedan.
The return of the Acura Integra is justified in light of the activity of Honda's direct competitors. Toyota and Subaru have recently introduced the GR 86 and BRZ sports cars, respectively, and the debut of the new Nissan Z is due soon.
