Japanese premium crossover manufacturer Acura has begun testing its new RDX SUV. This is evidenced by the "spy" pictures published on the Web, in which you can see the body of the updated SUV, which is tightly covered with a camouflage protective film.

Despite all the efforts of the manufacturer trying to hide the planned exterior changes, it is already clearly visible that the front part of the body of the novelty will be made in the same style as another model - the MDX crossover. This means that vertical air intakes will be installed on the car, by analogy with its counterpart.

Judging by the outlines, the cross will receive the already familiar pentagonal radiator grill, as well as LED head optics, which is installed on the current version of the car. It looks like it completely overhauled the manufacturer and design of the rear bumper. It now additionally features two separate rectangular exhaust pipes. What the updated interior for the Acura RDX will turn out to be is not yet known. It is possible that the car will be equipped with a digital instrument panel and a completely new multimedia system.
As for the technical capabilities, for this model, according to experts, a 2-liter turbo engine with 4 cylinders will be installed, which develops a power of 272 horsepower and produces a torque of 380 N * m. Also, the novelty will be equipped with a permanent all-wheel drive Super-Handling and an automatic transmission with 10 gears.
