Over the past few days, Honda has been teasing its fans with information about the new, fourth generation of the Acura MDX crossover. Now the manufacturer has declassified the interior of its model. The video released shows that the interior of the Japanese crossover will be completely redesigned in a style that is completely new for Acura.

The current version of the Acura MDX

Judging by the information provided, the interior is well thought out in terms of ergonomics. The wide center console is crowned at the top by a large touchscreen monitor, the dimensions of which have not yet been revealed. At the same time, it is known that it supports the Full HD format. At the bottom there are narrow blocks with air vents and climate control keys. Below them are decorative protrusions that frame the center console and transmission tunnel. In this area there is an original remote control, through which you can probably control the multimedia complex.

The gear lever is also compact and complemented by a wide knob. Immediately behind it, the platform for wireless charging of gadgets is more visible. Honda officials said the new Acura MDX is equipped with premium speakers with 3D sound and 25 speakers. The published photos show that the crossover was equipped with a digital instrument panel and a standard steering wheel without touch keys.

The salon of the Japanese model is finished with expensive materials. In addition to leather with contrasting stitching, decorative wood inserts are visible. In addition, the new Acura MDX offers front seats with multi-mode massage. In the photos shown, you can replace the presence of six seats in the cabin. Perhaps a 7-seater version of the crossover with a sofa in the second row will also enter the market.

The information published after the video and photos indicates another interesting detail: the presented Acura MDX is nothing more than a concept. However, with a high degree of probability, most of the solutions implemented in this prototype will be implemented in the production version of the crossover. The date of the presentation, as well as the timing of the release of the Japanese novelty on the market, have not yet been announced. But judging by the fact that the car in the photos looks complete, the crossover will debut in the coming days.
