Audi has recently announced a whole line of new cars, each with the word "Sphere" in the name. Now the German manufacturer has published a series of teaser images revealing the outside and inside of the Grandsphere sedan concept. The debut of this model is scheduled for September 2.

Judging by the images, the German novelty will stand out for its large dimensions, thanks to which the interior of the car will provide a comfortable fit both in the front and in the back (photo: motor1.com). The dimensions of the Grandsphere are reminiscent of the Audi A7 Sportback. But unlike the latter, the novelty will be equipped exclusively with electric motors.

As is the case with many concepts, on the basis of which they plan to create expensive cars, the German novelty is equipped with rear doors that open against the direction of travel. Only 4 seats are installed inside the sedan. On the second row, between the chairs, there is a long and wide enough stand, which looks more like a compact table.

Audi emphasized that this model, like the entire Sphere line, will receive autonomous control technology of the fourth level. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Grandsphere was equipped with such an unusual steering wheel. Its appearance in this model can be called accidental, since the driver's participation in driving the car will be minimized.

It is reported that the Grandsphere will be the second electric car in the new line, which is being developed by Audi. The third vehicle will be the new Urbansphere electric crossover, which is expected to be focused on urban use. Probably, this model will debut before the end of the fall of this year.
