Audi has recently started road testing the new electric crossover Q6 e-tron. The car is based on the PPE platform, in the development of which Porsche engineers took part. This architecture formed the basis of the Taycan sports car.

Although the Audi Q6 e-tron is due to debut next year, the exterior of the car has already been completely declassified thanks to renders created by an independent designer. Judging by the images, the car is designed in the same style as other electric cars of the German brand. In particular, instead of a radiator grille in the Q6 e-tron, there is a large polygonal insert with an original pattern at the front. On the sides of it are narrow headlights with LED lights. Under the front optics, the developer has placed huge ventilation holes with many small slats. Their presence indirectly indicates that the new Audi Q6 e-tron will become a dynamic crossover. The appearance of large side air intakes is due to the presence of powerful braking mechanisms.

The rear part of the body of the German novelty will probably be styled in the style of the "junior" Q4 e-tron. This means that a tapered optics will be placed at the stern of the Q6 e-tron, the inner part of which will be made up of thin LED strips. The rear glazing will be compact due to the sloping roofline.

According to rumors, the German electric crossover will receive a 100-kilowatt battery, which will provide a range of approximately 644 kilometers. Also, the Audi Q6 e-tron will come in versions with one and two electric motors. In the second case, their total power will reach 476 hp, torque - 800 N * m.
