This time, they decided to attract the attention of the public with bright colors of compact city cars CHERY QQ. At the end of August, the first photographic reminders of the hit of the 2000s appeared in a new interpretation by Chinese designers.
QQ is now an electric vehicle. The main highlight of the model - diminutiveness - did not change. Its dimensions are still small: the parameters of length, width and height are expressed in figures corresponding to 2980 * 1496 * 1637 mm. The wheelbase of the "kids" is 1960 mm.
The QQ engines will be 20 kW TZ160XFDM13A units manufactured by Anhui Ruilu Technology. Their power is also low - 27 hp. The models will have two versions of batteries. The battery charge should be sufficient for relatively short distances without recharging travel - 120 and 170 kilometers.
But the main highlight of electric vehicles is the design component. New items look simple, but stylish at the same time. The compact interior is dominated by a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and sporty seat. The creators called the driver's seat "the player's workplace", which creates references to gaming and once again reminds of young people as a target group. The creators hint at enjoying technology and space.
The exterior of the QQ is distinguished by the most closed radiator grille, which is typical for electric vehicles. The place for connecting the chargers is the rear logo. In addition, the rear bumper, where the license plate is located, is made in the form of a black trapezoid and echoes the color of the roof. The polygonal headlights look unusual and at the same time childish. However, for its amusing appearance, the light effect is quite impressive, since there is a U-shaped cavity for the lamp inside.
And about the main thing - a new expanded color gamut. Consumers accustomed to the traditional colors of ice cream that are awarded to QQ "babies" will delight in blueberry, ice cream, lemon and pistachio shades of the body. Parts matching the main color of the electric car will delight the eye in the interior of CHERY QQ.
