As part of the Chengdu Auto Show, Chery unveiled the new Kaiyi Xuandu sedan. The car, which belongs to the brand that produces cheap cars, offers a rich set of on-board equipment. According to this parameter, the new product is quite comparable to the Kia K5.
Chery has not officially published all the trim levels of the new Kaiyi Xuandu. But it is known that the sedan is equipped with a 7-inch virtual instrument panel, which is adjacent to a 10, 25-inch touchscreen display. Built-in multimedia supports both voice commands and remote control via smartphone. Also, using mobile technology, you can configure climatic and other equipment.
Complete with the Chinese novelty, they will also offer leather seats, automatic air conditioning, engine start button, electronic parking brake and other options. The palette of shades in which the body can be painted includes 5 original colors. At the same time, in comparison with the Kia K5, the Kaiyi Xuandu sedan turned out to be shorter. Its length reaches 4666 mm with a wheelbase of 2700 mm. The vehicle is 1825 mm wide and 1483 mm high. Chery has not yet announced a timeline for Kaiyi Xuandu to enter the market. This model will be sold only in China.
Chery has offered together with Kaiyi Xuandu a newly developed 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that stands out for its high fuel efficiency. Its maximum power is limited to 156 hp. with a torque of 230 N * m. Also supplied with Xuandu is a 9-speed automatic transmission. And the basis of the Chinese novelty is the McPherson front struts and the rear independent design.
