Chery brought an updated version of the Tiggo 7 Plus crossover to the Chengdu auto show. The car has been seriously redesigned. In particular, 3 power units are now available with the Chinese novelty.
Under the hood of Chery Tiggo 7 Plus, a 1.5-liter supercharged engine is installed by default. Its declared power is 147 hp. Optionally, along with this unit, they will also offer a 48-volt starter-generator, which improves the dynamics of the crossover at the start and reduces fuel consumption. But all the characteristics of this unit have not yet been disclosed. Chery did not talk about the features of another hybrid installation, which will later appear on the Tiggo 7 Plus. It is only known that it is based on a 1.6-liter supercharged engine.
The new Tiggo 7 Plus is designed in the style of the flagship models of the Chinese brand. So, the crossover was equipped with a large radiator grille formed from intersecting metal strips. All optics of the Chinese model are complemented by LEDs.
The interior of the updated Tiggo 7 Plus is designed in the style of premium cars. Inside the Chinese model, most of the details are trimmed with faux leather. Along with the Tiggo 7 Plus are dual screens, under which there are thin air deflectors and a large engine start button. Below is the climate control unit with two washers and a small screen. Following the example of the "older" models, the Chinese novelty is equipped with a compact gearshift lever. Apparently, the refreshed Tiggo 7 Plus will hit the Chinese market in the next few weeks. The appearance of this model in Russia can be expected not earlier than next year.
