Chery continues to improve the Tiggo 8 Pro crossover presented on the Russian market. Despite the relatively low price for cars of this class, it is able to compete with models such as Toyota Highlander. And now the comparison with the Japanese crossover is becoming more and more relevant.
Chery announced that the Tiggo 8 Pro presented in Russia now boasts an ADAS security complex. It includes intelligent cruise control and autonomous emergency braking systems, road sign monitoring, collision warning when driving forward and backward. This complex also includes driver assistants who help when driving in traffic jams and prevent leaving the occupied lane. Head optics in this case is complemented by the function of automatically switching on and switching the high beam to the low beam.
It is stated that the new security complex is available only with the purchase of the top-end version of Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, for which they ask for at least 2.45 million rubles. The crossover in this version is equipped with a 186-horsepower turbocharged engine with a volume of 1.6 liters. Note that a version of the Tiggo 8 Pro with a 2-liter naturally aspirated engine developing up to 170 hp is available in Russia. But the number of cars with such a unit in our market is small due to low demand.
Towards the end of the year, according to rumors, an all-wheel drive version of the Tiggo 8 Pro will arrive in Russia. Note that the Chinese model is estimated at a minimum of 2 million rubles. The car is available in a 7-seater version, including seats upholstered in artificial leather.
