Chinese automaker Chery is preparing to launch a new, special package for its best-selling Tiggo 5X. The novelty is called the Superhero Edition and will go on sale on August 20. The crossover received an updated design, slightly changed configuration and some other details, which will be discussed below.
The first thing that catches your eye is the radiator grill. Nothing new here, but its design still looks very stylish, becoming the hallmark of Chery crossovers. LED optics are located along the edges of the grille. The "superhero" car received a two-tone body and new wheels, designed to emphasize its sporty character. Behind, almost nothing has changed. Is that there is a new spoiler on the trunk lid.
Inside, red accents on the seats, dashboard and door cards are clearly visible. There is a decent-sized multimedia screen in the center, and the steering wheel has a traditional bevel at the bottom, as is customary in sports cars. The seats have received new padding with lateral support and supports, which will provide maximum comfort both on long trips and in everyday city driving.
The powertrain lineup will remain the same. There are two motors to choose from. One of them is one and a half liter atmospheric 115 hp. The second is similar, but turbocharged. Its power is 156 hp. There are two gearboxes: a traditional 5-speed "mechanics" and a stepless variator.
