The Chinese crossover Chery Tiggo 8 is the company's flagship and has been known to Russian motorists for a long time. However, in the spring of this year, the Tiggo 8 Pro SUV debuted on the market. It is actually a restyled version of the standard "eight". Despite the fact that many experts predicted that two similar models will not be able to get along in the same market and one of them will have to leave it, while each of the crossovers demonstrates impressive sales results. Domestic experts decided to figure out why the more expensive Pro-version of the crossover is so popular that motorists easily overpay for its purchase.

First of all, the Tiggo 8 Pro looks more massive, although the difference in dimensions in comparison with the standard "eight" is minimal. In addition, the updated version is similar in style to the Tiggo 7 Pro. At the same time, the standard Tiggo 8 is much closer to the "younger" Tiggo 4. The next difference is a more striking appearance, which distinguishes the cross on the road. This is reflected in the new grille trim, stylish optics and plenty of chrome on the exterior. Also, in the external appearance, other stampings and a panoramic roof can be noted.

Of course, the interior of the car has become much more modern. There appeared a digital “tidy” and touch-sensitive buttons for controlling the functionality, as well as a transmission shift joystick and LED backlighting. The crossover seats have become larger and more comfortable, and due to the memory of the performed electrical adjustments, passengers will not have to constantly reconfigure them for themselves. In addition, a 1.6-liter turbo engine was proposed for the SUV, which is distinguished by good dynamics.
In general, the new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro costs customers 200-400 thousand more than the standard version. However, given the number of "chips" that the manufacturer offered for the crossover, this overpayment looks justified.
