In early spring, sales of the updated Citroen Berlingo started in Russia. But the French company brought to our country, in fact, an outdated version of its minivan. In Europe, the Berlingo is available with a completely different body and interior. And it was this modification of the minivan that Citroen decided to renew again.

As part of the planned modernization, the manufacturer has expanded the list of on-board equipment, supplementing it with a 10-inch touchscreen monitor and a digital instrument panel. This equipment will be available with high-end minivans. The digital instrument panel supports 3 different display options.

In the interior of the minivan, instead of the standard gearshift lever, a selector borrowed from the electric Berlingo-e is now installed. At the same time, Citroen revised the list of trim levels, removing one of the modifications from it. By default, the "European" Berlingo is equipped with 16-inch wheels, air conditioning, LED DRLs and other equipment. For a surcharge with a minivan, dual-zone climate control, all-round cameras, original seat upholstery and contrasting inserts on the body are offered.

Under the hood of the French model is a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that develops up to 108 hp. power. It is combined with a 6-speed "mechanics". In more expensive versions, the power of this engine is increased to 128 hp, and the standard gearbox is replaced by an 8-band "automatic". Also, buyers have a choice of 2 options for a turbo diesel engine with a volume of 1.5 liters. Its power is respectively 99 and 128 hp. The updated Berlingo will hit the European market in October.
