French automaker Citroen is currently planning to introduce its second budget product for the Indian market. The car, which will be called the C3, may be on sale by the end of the year. It will compete in the market with models such as the Hyundai Venue, KIA Sonet, Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.

The official debut of the model is to take place in a few months, and its test prototypes have repeatedly hit the lenses of "spy" cameras. In addition, photos of the car's advertising campaign were leaked to the Network last month, thanks to which the main details of the appearance of the future crossover became known. But now there are pictures of the interior of a real car, which reveal some information about the interior of the model.

So, these photos clearly show that the SUV will receive a large touchscreen display of the multimedia system, which will possibly support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Judging by the pictures, it will be the largest monitor in its segment. Below the screen, you can see the horizontal vents of the air conditioning system. In addition, from the photo you can understand the final appearance of the steering wheel and the shape of the analog dashboard. The manufacturer will reveal more detailed information about its model in the coming months.

In terms of appearance, the new product will be very similar to the larger Citroen C5 Aircross. She will receive the same wide grille, flat bonnet, two-level headlights and a strongly tilted windshield. In the side profile of the SUV, only the presence of light-alloy wheels and a "floating" roof can be noted. There are no interesting features behind the car.

The new Citroen C3 will be powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 130 hp. Initially, the engine will be offered in a pair of a 5-speed manual transmission, but the manufacturer is expected to later equip the car with an EDC automatic transmission. The crossover is based on the CMP platform, which is also based on some models from Citroen and Peugeot.
