Citroen has announced the start of accepting pre-orders in Russia for the updated C3 Aircross crossover. The car will be available in three trim levels at a price of 1.53 million rubles. The most expensive version costs 1.96 million rubles.
It is stated that Citroen C3 Aircross will by default receive air conditioning and road sign recognition systems, 6 airbags, front optics with automatic high beam off function, power windows, multimedia with support for mobile technology, a 7-inch touchscreen monitor and LED lighting technology located in a circle … In addition, cruise control and electrically heated, power-assisted exterior mirrors are included as standard.
Citroen C3 Aircross will be presented on the Russian market with three power units known from the pre-reform crossover. In the initial versions, a 1.2-liter engine will be installed under the hood of the French crossover. The starting modifications use an 82-horsepower version of this unit, which is combined with a 5-speed "mechanics". In more expensive trim levels, the base engine is complemented by a turbine, thanks to which the maximum output increases by 28 hp. A 6-band "automatic" works in tandem with it. The top-end versions will have a 1.6-liter turbodiesel with a maximum output of 92 hp. It comes with basic mechanics.
Recall that Citroen introduced the updated C3 Aircross at the end of winter. In the course of the modernization, the manufacturer redesigned the exterior of the crossover, making quite serious changes to the front of the body. The interior of the French model has become more spacious. The list of onboard equipment has been expanded with a 9-inch touchscreen monitor and a wireless charging platform. In addition, the engineers redesigned the front seats, optimizing their frame and increasing the foam thickness by 15 mm.
