Citroen has announced the launch of the e-Relay in the UK. This commercial van can be purchased here starting at £ 49,335 (RUB 5.1 million). The French model is available with one electric motor driving the front wheels. Its power is 121 hp. and 350 N * m of torque. This is enough to transport goods with a maximum weight of up to 1150 kg without any problems. It should be said that the top speed of the model is 120 km / h.
The basic version of the electric vehicle is powered by a 37 kWh lithium-ion battery. It provides a power reserve of 120 km. However, for an additional payment of £ 5,750 (600,000 rubles), the buyer will be provided with a 70 kWh battery, allowing the vehicle to travel up to 225 km. The standard e-Relay is a 5413 mm triple van. In addition, the manufacturer also offers two more spacious body options (5998 mm and 6363 mm). There are also modifications of the model with a window in the cargo area and an additional row of seats.
The cargo hold of the largest version of the van holds 15 cubic meters of cargo. It will be enough to transport items with a length of 4070 mm. Both of these figures are completely identical to the diesel Citroen Relay, since the battery pack in the electric version is installed under the floor of the van.
However, it should be said that the e-Relay is only available in one trim level - Citroen Enterprise. Its standard equipment includes rear parking sensors, a factory alarm, air conditioning, a multimedia system with pre-installed navigation and a 5-inch color screen.
The shift knob in this version has been replaced by a push-button automatic selector for selecting one of three driving modes: Drive, Neutral and Reverse. In addition, the manufacturer also installed a special informative rear-view mirror that displays the battery pack charge level and the van's range.
