Citroen announced a few months ago that it will soon unveil its new, ultra-compact crossover, the length of which will not exceed four meters. The car is intended primarily for the Indian market.
Here, the French novelty will compete with the Hyundai Venue, so its price will probably not exceed 800 thousand rubles. While Citroen is road-testing the compact crossover, which is factory badged as CC21, an independent designer has recreated its exterior in a render image.

Strictly speaking, the car captured in this picture will visually resemble a production French model. This is supported by photographs of a test prototype and other Citroen products. The presented novelty is also equipped with a very narrow head optics, visually combined with a compact radiator grille, and a massive front bumper. In it, the developer has built blocks with additional LED lights and a large hexagonal air intake. At the bottom of the front bumper, niches for fog lights and ventilation openings are provided.
Like other Citroen models, the new crossover is likely to be complemented by contrasting decorative inserts and a wide plastic body kit. The car will be based on the proprietary CMP platform. Under the hood, the French model is expected to house a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that develops up to 110 hp. net power and 160 N * m tractive torque. Together with him, they will offer a choice of a manual and automatic transmission for 6 speeds. The date of the debut of the French novelty, as well as the date of the start of sales, have not yet been announced.
