One of the distinctive features of Citroen models is a unique body design that combines non-standard stylistic solutions and contrasting inserts. However, the French concern does not adhere to this approach to the design of its products in all markets. Recently it became known that an "outdated" version of the Berlingo van will be on sale in Russia. Photos of the updated C3-XR crossover have now been released, which also show that Citroen is ready to produce standard cars in terms of exterior performance (photo: autohome.com.cn).

Note that this version of the French crossover is intended for the Chinese market. The updated Citroen C3-XR is equipped with a large trapezoidal air intake, inside which there was a place for a license plate. The front optics are also made in the standard style typical for the models of the French brand of past years. The same can be said for the Citroen logo, which is an extension of two horizontal louvres that run along the narrow grille.

The rear of the new C3-XR has a simple design. There is a compact glazing here, under which 2 relatively large lanterns are fixed, most of which go above the wheel fenders. Perhaps the most original part of the body is the rear bumper with a ribbed plastic insert, on which additional brake lights are placed. According to the published information, the length of the new Citroen C3-XR is 4288 mm (+6 mm) with a wheelbase of 2655 mm. The crossover stretches 1748 mm in width and 1557 mm in height. Under the hood of the French model is a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine producing up to 116 hp. useful power. This engine is combined only with a 6-speed automatic transmission, supplemented by one "wet" clutch.
