The Chinese brand Changan still expects to bring a new Uni-K crossover to the Russian market by the end of this year. At the moment, the developer is completing all the certification activities that are required to obtain the OTTS. At the same time, other announced new items are not yet in such an enviable position. Their possible market debut is a big question.
As previously stated in the Changan representative office, by the end of this year, four new models were to appear on the Russian market at once. However, they never arrived. As it became known from various sources, the Changan leadership still abandoned the idea of having time to bring the new Eado sedan to Russia this year. But the rest of the cars, as before, are planned to be delivered to dealerships by the end of 2021.
The debutant of the market should be the Changan Uni-K SUV, which has body dimensions of 4865x1948x1700 mm. Note that the model has already begun to be compared with the more expensive Lexus NX. The distance between the axles for this model is 2890 mm. A 2-liter turbo engine is installed under the hood of the cross, the output of which is 232 horsepower. A pair for this unit is an 8-speed automatic transmission. An all-wheel drive system is also available on the model. The price for a cross in China is equivalent to 1, 74-2, 09 million rubles.
The next novelty, for which the process of obtaining the OTTS certificate has also been launched, is the next generation of the CS35 Plus crossover. The SUV debuted in China this spring and is estimated at 800,000 -1.3 million rubles.
The final novelty - the CS55 Plus SUV, it seems that it will not have time to appear on the market in the Russian Federation until the end of the year, since the first models, which will be taken as a basis for certification, are only on their way towards our country. However, this model debuted in China only in August, and its price is 1, 21-1, 38 million rubles.
